Running a business online doesn’t mean your sequestered from the real world. Be social, network in person and promote your online business in off line ways. A big part of my business is website design, these clients pay thousands to get a website built by my team and optimized by me but they never find me online. Instead I find them in very off line ways, usually people that are super tech savvy and know of all the latest and greatest web 2.0 advances aren’t going to pay a premium to have someone else build their site. So if your speciality is like mine and can translate into an off line business go for it! Two streams of income are better than one and the more channels that bring you business the better.
