For anyone that has or has the intention of criticizing this article, I hope you realize that she is only trying to help YOU out here. To be the next big internet sensation is really not that farfetched…it only takes one small idea, and if you think you have it, then shoot for the stars man! I am a 24 year old working traveler that only wants to accomplish his dreams…there is nothing standing in my way except for myself. I want to travel the globe working as I go, start my own internet business(yet to be determined), possibly even have an outdoor traveling television show dedicated to what I do right now with my traveling and adventure jobs along the way, but that could be a long way off. I digress…I really only want to say that what Maren has to say here is completely inspiring, and if you choose to see the negative in her words, quit being so scrupulous and do something! I know I’m going to…I know it will take hard work and determination, but I will NOT work a job that I don’t enjoy ever again.

First of all Sollaro123 your not a failure, maybe in your families eyes but not mine and probably several other people here on this blog. There are several of out there with ideas that would blow your mind but have no idea how to jump start it or the capital to do it. I also did tile work and like you it took its toll on the body so I took it to another level and started making signs. This did pretty well it helped pay off several thousand dollars in debt. I was married with two kids and had to do something because I was less then a check away from being on the streets. I started this with an idea just like all of us. I bought a sales book and went from business to business in the area who were just starting out and needed a sign. I then took deposits bought signs supplies with the deposits and made them signs. $50 bonding license and business license and i was on my way. Word got around and I started getting calls. Sounds to me like you have some creative bones in the body and Im sure your still full of ideas. I’am by no means a business tycoon but love doing my own thing. I do have a full time job that helps just incase it doesn’t work out but I hate it and would love to just break out on my own.But there has been alot of times where money just didn’t come in and was glad I had that job to keep us going. My sugestion is to try and find a job to help pay for your legal issues and don’t give up!! This country needs people like us more than ever now.

I have been “self employed” for quite some time. Lately tho, its not working out too well.. I have lots of legal problems and no money to fix them. This is the bain of existance! I have lots of ideas but no way of bringing them to bear fruit. Some of the ideas presented here are interesting however not for me… I am truley UN employable. I ran my own tile flooring biz, rather it ran me. im out of that now forever! my body just wont allow it. I was cutting checks for employees that were more than the profit of the J O B.
