I do a similar thing as you in never saying “I don't know”, to a computer-related question (especially in terms of web development). I will always immediately offer three different ways of doing a set task, or three different of solving a problem. I if truly don't know and can't think of anything, I saying “I'll find out”. Now, I don't do this as a business, but I sure do receive a lot of computer-related questions!
